Little Walnut Creek Greenbelt Clean UP

Join your fellow park lovers as we give back at the Little Walnut Creek Greenbelt! We’ll spend the morning cleaning up the trails in the LWC greenbelt! Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It’s My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists. We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We’ll meet at the trailhead entrance along 51st St. (across from Hutchinson Rd.) and get started right at 9 am. You can park in Senate Hills. Happy New Year!
We ended the year by holding our annual PSSNA Holiday Potluck. This year’s potluck was GREAT and we all shared amazing food. The church meeting space was decorated for the holidays and we had two young residents entertain us with live piano music. Thank you to all who contributed and attended.
As we continue our efforts to make Pecan Springs-Springdale Hills an inclusive place to live, we welcome and encourage your feedback and constructive criticism. Some of the best ideas come from the membership of our community and we get excited when homeowners reach out to us. We’ve been working hard the past year with a goal in mind: improving communication and building community. As you make those 2024 New Year resolutions, we would ask that each homeowner resolve to help us by becoming involved in our initiatives. There are many ways you can get involved such as attending monthly meetings, becoming a member, serving on one of our committees, volunteering for one of our neighborhood greenbelt clean-ups, or simply being kind to a neighbor. We appreciate the support of so many of you and do try our best to do what is in the best interest of our neighborhood.Wishing you and your families a joyful, prosperous, and Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
PSSNA Board of Directors
